    Follow Me / Maya EP

    The EP ‘Follow Me / Maya’ is a two-track house music journey inspired by the soundscape and atmosphere of the Lofoten Islands in northern Norway. Both tracks are upbeat and energetic, sharing vast reverbs, echoed vocals, and sax melodies.

    Follow Me

    ‘Follow Me’ takes place in a valley between two mountain ranges. It blends distorted electric piano chords and a weaving pad, creating an open, spacious soundscape where the vocals and the sax take centre stage. The track builds up, sustained by a grooving, bouncing bassline filling the space between syncopated drums. Gritty synths add character to the song, delivering some raw ´90 feelings.

    Maya

    “Maya” dances over relentless drum beats and elastic basslines. Ethereal vocals and evocative pads create a peculiar atmosphere that draws the listener into the music. Sax melodies and synth chords build positive and euphoric vibes, delivering a dynamic and danceable song. The track maintains high tension through unexpected changes in harmony and bassline as it approaches the end.

    Both tracks are written using analogue hardware. Elektron Analog Rytm drums are enhanced with external effect processors. A Moog Minitaur delivers that signature, deep, full-bodied bass. Synthesizer textures come from Elektron Analog Four and OB-6. Fairfield Circuitry and Eventide pedals add the final layers, enriching the soundscape. Elysia 500 modules play a crucial role in the mix and master bus, connecting all elements seamlessly.

    I Got You / Don’t Let Me Go EP

    I Got You / Don’t Let Me Go EP is a two-track house music EP, inspired by the emotional state of flow that we experience when making music. The two tracks deliver contrasting feelings: one is more upbeat and energetic, while the other is more laid-back and chill.

    I Got You

    ‘I Got You’ mirrors the thrill of a brilliant idea. It features a blend of open acoustic piano chords and a dreamy electric piano melody, creating a nostalgic ‘old school’ ambience. The track gradually builds up with the addition of female vocal samples, culminating in a powerful main break with a sustained vocal shot.

    Don’t Let Me Go

    “Don’t Let Me Go” represents the end of a creative session. It features soft female vocals and evocative Rhodes chords that dance over a pulsating beat. The track is grounded by an elastic, bouncing bass and the organic sounds of acoustic drums. Bright pads intermittently inject a sense of anticipation into the atmosphere. As the track draws to a close, a liquid 303 adds a hypnotic touch to the groove.

    Both tracks showcase a blend of hardware sounds. Courtesy of Elektron Analog Rytm, drums are processed through outboard effect processors. The bass from a Moog Minitaur provides that classic round and full sound. Synth sounds from a Elektron Analog Four and OB-6. Fairfield Circuitry and Eventide effect pedals add the finishing touches, enriching the sonic palette. Finally, Elysia 500 modules take centre stage on the mix and master bus, glueing the elements together.

    Time / Masks EP

    Here is the “Time / Masks” EP, a laid-back two-track house music EP that came together during late-night studio sessions. It has a chill, groovy atmosphere, carrying the listeners into its sound. Crafted with hardware synthesizers, samplers, and effects, the EP emanates a lo-fi, raw, and authentic feeling.

    Time

    “Time” features a Rhodes loop and dreamy synth melodies. As the loop unfolds, additional elements join the mix: the bass plays with the drums, while a hypnotic 303 bass line counterpoints the synths. The result? It is a deep, lo-fi, and groovy track with an authentic feeling.

    Masks

    “Masks” uses the same instruments but moves to a more energetic vibe. At its core is the sound of the Rhodes, in a loop that builds the song’s foundation. An OB-6 accompanies the loop with its lush tones, weaving effortlessly between the beats, while vocals and piano deliver the classic ’90s house vibe. Also, a slightly tamed but gritty, pressing 303 line does its part in celebrating the vibe.

    Both tracks showcase a meticulous blend of hardware sounds. Courtesy of a Jomox 888 (a modern homage to the classic Roland 808 drum machine), drums are processed through outboard effect processors. The bass from a Moog Minitaur provides that classic round and full sound, while synth sounds come from a Nord Lead 2X and the OB-6. Fairfield Circuitry and Eventide effect pedals add the finishing touches, enriching the sonic palette. Finally, Elysia 500 modules take centre stage on the mix and master bus, glueing the elements together.

    Ollie / Willie EP

    Here is the Ollie / Willie EP, a dynamic two-track house music EP that draws inspiration from the skateboard community.

    As the “Ollie” is the most basic trick you learn on the skateboard, sampling is among the basic techniques defining house music vocabulary. Crafted with hardware synthesizers, samplers, and effects, the EP emanates a lo-fi, raw, and authentic feeling.

    Ollie

    “Ollie” is a groove-laden piece born from the manipulation of a Rhodes piano loop, that I layered with other synth sounds to create the track’s foundation. As the loop unfolds, additional elements join the mix—vocals, bass, and drums, all topped with a nice 303 line. The result? A deep, lo-fi, and groovy track.

    Willie

    “Willie” takes on a more energetic vibe. At its core is the sound of an OB-6, renowned for its lush tones. This song, however, delivers a gritty dub, ’90s vibe that weaves effortlessly between the beats. Supporting this core are ethereal pads and piano lines, crafting an atmospheric backdrop that elevates the track’s energy. The vocals, processed with filters, saturators, delay, and reverb, add a layer of mood and depth.
